Peer Coaching Services for Women Experiencing a Traumatic Breakup

Women Going Through Divorce

Going through a breakup can be jarring, terrifying, isolating and extremely painful experience for everyone involved. In January 2023, I found myself involved in a sudden separation from my husband of seventeen years, who had been my partner for more than half of my life. We were living abroad at the time, so I had to come back to the United States without my husband, without a home, without a job, and without a clue as to how to take my first steps in a new solo life.

It was the most stressful experience I’ve ever been through, in part due to all of the things people don’t talk about in the divorce process. I expected my entire family to rally behind me. Not all family members did. I expected my in-laws to see me as the same person I was before the break up. This did not happen. In short, I was unprepared for the varying levels of heartbreak that continued after the initial break. It was an extremely isolating and painful journey.

While there were many coaching services available for women in the process of a traumatic breakup, it was difficult to find anyone who could provide mentorship and peer coaching I so desperately needed, while offering sliding-scale fees that could make it affordable. So I was unable to partner up with this support, and had to learn how to go it alone.

I would like to be that mentor and peer coach  for you. I offer sliding-scale mentorship and peer coaching support for women experiencing divorce or other traumatic breakup. Being low-income should not be the factor that prevents you from getting the support you need in such a traumatic time of life.

Let me hold your hand and walk through the fire with you. Contact me to learn how!
